What You'll Learn

Our curriculum focuses on building actual skills you can use immediately. No theory for theory's sake—just practical knowledge that helps you manage money better.

01

Budget Foundations

Start with the basics. You'll learn how to track expenses without feeling overwhelmed, set up categories that make sense for your life, and create a budget structure you'll actually stick to.

02

Digital Tools Mastery

Get comfortable with spreadsheets, budgeting apps, and automation. We'll show you how to make technology work for you instead of adding more complexity to your financial life.

03

Real-World Application

Work through actual scenarios like handling unexpected expenses, planning for irregular income, and adjusting budgets when life changes. These situations come up for everyone.

04

Savings Strategies

Build savings habits that fit your income level. Learn techniques for setting aside money consistently and strategies for prioritizing multiple savings goals at once.

05

Danish Tax Context

Understand how to budget within the Danish tax system. We'll cover how to plan for tax payments, work with SKAT deadlines, and factor deductions into your monthly planning.

06

Long-Term Planning

Look beyond monthly budgets to plan for bigger financial pictures. You'll learn to balance immediate needs with future goals and adjust your approach as circumstances change.

Learn From People Who've Been There

Our instructors aren't just finance professionals. They're people who've worked through their own budget challenges and helped others do the same. They get the frustration of feeling behind on savings or the stress of not knowing where money goes each month.

Each cohort is kept small so instructors can give actual feedback on your specific situation. You're not getting generic advice—you're getting input tailored to where you are financially and what you're trying to accomplish.

Common Questions

Do I need prior finance knowledge?

Not at all. We start from the ground up. If you can open a spreadsheet and do basic math, you're ready. The first three weeks cover fundamentals in detail.

How much time should I expect to spend outside class hours?

Plan for about 3-4 hours weekly. That includes reviewing your own finances, completing exercises, and setting up your personal budget system. Some weeks need more time, others less.

Is this only relevant for people living in Denmark?

The core budgeting principles work anywhere. We do include specific information about Danish banking and tax systems, which is most useful if you're based here. But the main concepts apply universally.

What happens if I fall behind during the program?

Life happens. You'll have access to recorded sessions and can schedule catch-up time with instructors. We'd rather you learn the material thoroughly than rush to keep up. For more support options, visit our contact page.

Will this help me find work in finance?

This program focuses on personal budgeting skills, not professional finance careers. However, the organizational abilities and financial literacy you develop could be valuable in many jobs. We don't make employment promises.
